Pigui Slaps Display
When it comes to typical sweets, Mexicans have the first place in richness and variety. But without a doubt, there is one that is worth presenting: the slap.
It is said that this sweet is originally from Jalisco. And, although their name causes laughter, you cannot deny that they were an important part of your childhood. Surely you remember how its chewy and acidic flavor awaited you at the exit of the school in any position with a canvas.
The "Cachetadas" consists of a layer of shiny candy sandwiched between two pieces of plastic. It is like a huge thin and flexible palette glued to a piece of paper, which, thanks to its shape, everyone can bend in their own way.
Its flavors and colors are very varied; there is lemon, tamarind, strawberry, pineapple, and blueberry. Although, if you are lucky, you can find all these flavors, but with chili.
